I hate cars.

So after months of waiting, i finally got my parts last night. I put them in my car and call up my neighbor to tell him whenever he's ready to work on it, he can come by and grab it.

just to be sure everything's in working order, i decide to start her up. turn the key.....

nothin.

we just recharged the battery on saturday, and i made sure that nothing was left on.

piece a junk.

(btw, don't ever buy an olds aurora unless it's in EXTREMELY good condition. the cost for front and rear transmission mounts came to a total of $498 [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img]

moony, had i driven a beemer perpindicular over a curb doing forty to avoid hitting some kid, it would've cracked somethin' and would've been just as expensive if not moreso to fix.

i think my car just has a bad battery. it hasn't been run a lot in a long time, and it's got a lot of electronic dealies.

it's really not that nice... 175k, one blown speaker, broken driver's seat, and the radiator was shot when i got it.

A German car wouldn't have slid off the road sideways just because you had to do some quick avoidance.

The pavement was very wet this morning and as I barreled up the on ramp at 70mph, there was a bungee-cord-like thing in the road with a big metal hook on it..... I swerved around it into the other lane and back into my own lane. No screeching tire drama... just STICK-YOUR-ASS-TO-THE-ROAD Porsche handling. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

it was a one lane drive leading out of the school parking lot. jerked to the left, hit wet grass, swung the wheel to the right to avoid smashing somebody's fence, and back across the road again over the curb.
